Since the FCC approved the merger a few days ago between the two satellite radio companies, they have announced today that the new company has been formed.

I think this is great because both services I wanted to be a part of, but since they were two different companies, getting the stations on one device was impossible. Now with this merger, they can funnel all channels into a single device!

This will make the “channel” lineup huge and allow at least for me to get both MLB and NFL stations on a single device. It it might be worth to buy a device and hold a subscription as having access to these channels with no commercials is the way to go. I think the only thing bad about the receivers is that it can not get traditional FM/AM or HD-Radio channels as I still do like to listen to terrestrial radio systems.
