Another day down in the books on mom’s visit down to D.C.. After accidentally sleeping in yesterday morning to about noon, we missed our original start time, but I think it worked out better anyway.

Today was the second day of fun in our nations Capitol. It was another beautiful day out and just like always, I got a ton of great pictures that I will post up. Overall I spent basically from 9:30am to 12:30am (Saturday) out of my apartment.

Just as I was settling down to head to bed and watching the US Men Volleyball team win the gold (like the US Women did a day earlier) a breaking news story from the games came up. the IOC is investigating the ages of the girls on the china’s Gymnastics team which won the gold all-team event and the gold in the uneven bars due to the tie breaking rules that are in place in the Olympics.
This story will be closely followed by everyone, but in my mind they are younger than the required age of 16. The look 13 through 15 at least no where close to the required age. This was an unexpected turn around since the IOC had said earlier that they were all of age during and after the gymnastics events.

As I talked about earlier in my postings, the latest class to be “updated’ was the heavy class. Over the past week or so they been updating the heavy update site each day (minus the weekend) for the 6 different major changes they made to the game.
This heavy update also makes it almost not fun to play spy since everyone will play heavy for the first few days, but in the mean time as spy I will be able to stab a whole bunch of heavies. Below is what they released and my review on everything.

My friend Joe, who is up in Vancouver Canada cataloging the props from the Battlestar Galactica show, had a chance to view Season 4.5. Now with that being said I am really jealous. I refused to ask/get any information that could spoil it for myself. I want for the last half to be completely surprised when it comes out in January 2009.
In other news, if you are into the show, an auction of the props will be taking place sometime after the last episode. Being part of the Battlestar Wiki, along with Joe’s cataloging the props, we are documenting everything on a special sub-wiki to preserve it’s history and prosperity.
