I have relocated my site and all the other FrakMedia! Productions websites to Media Temple, Grid/Cloud service. Lets just say everything is working good so far and I will let you know of some new stuff very soon!

So I took myself out for an early holiday present. I went to go see Avatar before the holiday season. I had the night off, for once, and I just had to take the chance to see the movie before the New Year. I will be seeing this movie again to take in more of the subtle digital effects. This movie can be summed up to this:
Avatar ranks (IMDb) right up there; maybe better than The Dark Knight.
Safelite AutoGlass, where I got my previous pan of glass because of this exact same issue, replaced my Windshield under the lifetime warranty. I only waiting about an hour for it to be completed so it was no big deal to wait at the shop.
Only have good things to say! The only problem is that the heater on the glass seems not to be turning on. I am thinking I might have to take a quick ride back to them to see what is going on, however, the Subaru dealer is going to look first to see if it’s not a mechanical problem.
Yesterday’s Snow Storm/Blizzard/White Out/<Insert your own weather related system code> was crazy. So last night from work it took me 2.5 hours to go 1.5 miles (2.4 km) back to road that would take me to my apartment. One reason it took me so long is that I missed the exit the first time around and had to go to the next exit to loop back around. It took me another good 0.5 hours on the local street to get to my front door because I could not see more than 10 feet in front of me.
Even though 2009 is almost over it is still 2009 and what a way to end it. Maybe we will get more before the 1st, eh?
First Snow Storm of 2009
Wow. That was fast. Not less than 72 hours ago we released RC1 of 2.9 and we got such a good response from testing that we decided to skip the two week testing period for a release of WordPress 2.9 “Carmen”. Early Holiday Present. So get it today using the automatic upgrade feature.
Expect WordPress 3.0 released around the spring time because of the large changes to the core including WPMU integration and more media stuff (yay!).

A quick note: If you run a stand-alone version, not hosted on WordPress.com, be sure you have at least MySQL version 4.1.2. All backwards compatibility was taken out of 2.9.
