Another successful event about all things Battlestar with the wonderful panel that I was part of again. This being our second time doing this panel we had much more fun this time around since the entire evening was talking about the show. We were not rushed doing other events and we still had time for Battlestar Galactica Trivia in between the major question directions.

Galapagos Art Space

This panel was held at the Galapagos Art Space in downtown Brooklyn. As I was driving in it was getting dark and as I was on I-278 (Which is the Brooklyn Expressway) and the lights in the city were amazing. Sorry.. no pictures while driving.

If you ever go to the art space in the city, the area from where you look out to the city is like in the episode of Battlestar Galactica ‘Revelations‘ when the crew finds the nuked earth except this time the Brooklyn Bridge is intact and the population exists. Inside we (the panel) were debating that the place inside looks like the Opera House or the Final Five Temple. If we had white robes (or sheets) with spot lights we could be like the Final Five.. spooky.

In any case.. I arrived around 5:00pm. Laura Lee was already there and John showed up a few minutes later. We setup the place and got everything set for a great evening. We place “ship” names on the tables around the art space indicating our fleet for the evening and later on so we could identify “who” was talking. It was a great idea by Laura to do so since it was fun pointing out all the ships that were blown up during the series, but as we all should know by now.. no ship survives after Daybreak, Part II.
