The project that I been working on for over a year with the Best Buy Retail Web Development team has finally finished. I completed the project yesterday in-fact at 3pm right before I had to head for the airport and board a plane back for NY. I had spent over 60+ hours for the past 4 weeks getting the projected finalized and working into a state that it can be used for the company in whole. I have in the past created “websites”, but this website project was no ordinary project. Minus the ExtJS framework that I used for the administration side, I did however write all the Javascript, PHP5 code, and HTML code used for the site in order for it to work. In the end there was more than 12,000 lines of code from start to finish and over 100+ images (mostly icons) used for the site in order to convey what the team wanted in the end.

Now I am back in NY, back in the store, but I am going back to school starting Tuesday and Thursday nights in order to start my my even higher education. The first courses should end by November 2011. It also means that I am now going to be going back into WordPress Core Development which was really hard to do while I was in Minnesota for weeks at a time. I am also letting people know that I am ready to take on designing and website creation again using my newly acquired skills of ExtJS and Sechna Touch. Please get in touch with me if you want my services. I am still awaiting if I can use screen shots of my project for showcase work. If that is the case, expect them soon!

You will also see some changes to the design here at the rabbit hole where I been thinking about a major redesign for a while now since this design is over a 2 years old. A lot of the color scheme will stay the same, but I know for sure the flash header is going away and the layout of where the content is and how it displays will changes for sure. It will be a process and I sorta been working on it in my head.

Anyway, that’s all for now!
