This is what you see when you join the game.

This is what you see when you join the game.

WOW!

I just played the demo, and while the first time around I was stupid enough to leave alone my teammates, I learned the next time that this is a game that you can not go out on your own. The demo only includes two levels of one map and with the 20+ maps that are coming out with the game in less than a week, I can expect more fun!

Right now the game has several plaguing problems. Most noticibly with the server matching problems and people trying to play together as a group. Also if you are on a windows machine, you can not run a dedicated server and play the game at the same time.

Attached is the only thing that I can get for now. It is a poster of the “map” as you join it. If you think about the modding possibilities with this game, they are endless. There are plenty of screenshots and video of the game in action on the biggest fan website including the official trailer for the game. The offical review of this game will come out once the game is released. This is just a preview. expect a much fuller review then!

Think of this as an early present if you pre-purchase Left 4 Dead via Steam or XBOX 360 authorized websites. According to Steam/Valve you will have access to the demo all the way up to the release date, when it will cease to exist. This is very cool as they have always said that there was going to be a demo version after the release date. Guess not! Pre-purchase it now!

As I talked about earlier in my postings, the latest class to be “updated’ was the heavy class. Over the past week or so they been updating the heavy update site each day (minus the weekend) for the 6 different major changes they made to the game.

This heavy update also makes it almost not fun to play spy since everyone will play heavy for the first few days, but in the mean time as spy I will be able to stab a whole bunch of heavies. Below is what they released and my review on everything.

I am not a big fan of Massive Multi-player Online (MMO) games minus the one I want to develop for Dangerous Waters, but the Star Trek Online MMO is one that I been following since 2002. Since then it has gone from being developed to the company who won the license becoming dissolved to develop and soon release.

On a related note to Team Fortress 2 gaming, I checked out my stats today on the server I play on, and I noticed I had gotten every spy award for the day (August 2, 2008) plus points captured. Below is a screen shot of the same link above.

The Logo for Team Fortress 2

One of the games I been playing a lot of is a game by Valve called Team Fortress 2 (Check out their blog here.) This game is one of the most well thought out games and updated game out there. Since Valve uses their Steam software to keep the game up-to-date it also allows them to update the game play itself to everyone who plays it keeping the game fresh.
