So I took myself out for an early holiday present. I went to go see Avatar before the holiday season. I had the night off, for once, and I just had to take the chance to see the movie before the New Year. I will be seeing this movie again to take in more of the subtle digital effects. This movie can be summed up to this:

Avatar ranks (IMDb) right up there; maybe better than The Dark Knight.

Hijinks Ensue: Comic Cover

I ordered Godspeed, You Fancy Basterd! from Joel Watson, the online comic I follow, and not only did it come with a book packed with the comics and extra’s, but a bumper sticker and large print of the cover which now I got to get a glass picture frame for to hang on the wall.

I got the Ultimate Fancy Limited edition of 150 copies sold, but my copy was #32. Sweet!

I got am mail on Thursday from the US_nailPS that my package was on my way and that it be here today. I just got back from work… and boom… It was here! I was so excited. I looked at all the comics since he done it online, but having a hard copy is really cool and flipping through the pages makes it look real professionial.

Support him by either going to his store (http://store.hijinksensue.com/) or just check our his comic collection. Be sure to even donate to his cause as he does this full time. I know I like to do programing full time, but maybe that will happen soon.

So far from the original list I seen ‘G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra‘. Yeah. Lame. (Click “Lame” to see my lame review.) So that’s three D.C. comics. Where is the Marvel movies?

Well… only Iron Man, Spiderman, and X-Men exist in my world. I will see the other Spiderman movies now that I have confirmed that Toby will be back to be the web crusader once more.

What’s with all the movie news? Well.. this is the time of year the the studios gear up for filming because the summer is winding down. For next time…. later!

I was reading my favorite online comic, HiJinks Ensue, and the comic posted on the 22^nd of October, explained the potential and fatal flaw within the FedEx Kinko’s model. Charging a customer for each double click of a file to open for printing is to me charging a paying customers to write one line of code even it was just a:

$i++;

The best part is if anyone orders the comic from Joel at HiJinks Ensue, he is going to bring it back to the FedEx Kinkos to prove a point to them. I hope he gives them an inexpensive thumbdrive.
